Welcome to the site. It is a great source of information. I was previously in mortgages and more recently in SecuredLending with a company based in Wolves, the industry has been demolished (but thats another story). By moving to Cyprus, it very much depends whether you intend to do it lock stock & barrel, or retain a base in the UK.
