We have just completed on our first house in France 7 days ago and used a wonderful bilingual Notaire on Rue De La Republique in Ste Foy La Grande called Catherine Flaury recommended to us by Aquitaine Associates also in Ste Foy .
She was educated in England and so understands both English and French Law.
