We moved to Australia but I think the beginning process is the same. Check out that you can actually get in - you can find more info at
Immigration New Zealand

There are also emigration expos in the UK for moving to other countries (including NZ) if you have a search in google.

You can also talk to migration agents since the first consultation is usually free.
