Yes it takes so long. I think that something people should know when moving to Oz. The removal company will tell you its should take 6 weeks to get here. BUT it takes a while to clear customs so expect delays. We had plastic pine cones with our Christmas decorations and they thought they were real so we ended up paying to have them destroyed. It wasn't worth arguing about as then the furniture would have taking longer and I was 6 months pregnant and sleeping on the floor.
