We have recently received our visas and we were October on-line applications and were sponsored by my hubby's sister, which obviously is a great help indeed but doesn't speed up the process in any way, on-line application is quicker of course, but being sponsored by a family member is not.

From the research we done, and you have to do heaps of the stuff!, employer sponsorship is the quickest access you can get! but it is not easy to come by, so you have to way up those possibilities too, also we went in on a 176 visa, and the 175rs received their visas a helluva lot quicker too!!!
