I live at the bottom of the south island, and they have a real problem finding skilled people. I dont think your wife would find it a problem getting a job, my friend works as an accountant and earns $28 an hour, although everyone is differant. They also have polytech's down here where your teaching could be usefull. Good luck to you both!!
