Hi, I pay $50 a day for day care for (including food) i think thats average! you may also get help from centrelink towards payments) the thing we didnt realise about rentals here is the demand for them is huge - what we found happens is you see a house your interested in and view it on the allocated time (usually with several other couples if its a high demand area/size) and then its a first come first serve thing - we secured ours by turning up to the veiwing with all the paperwork in our hands to hand in there and then, that may be why your not ghetting any responce! best of luck
