I've recently met some people with permanent residency and apparently it isn't too difficult to get. There seem to be a lot of international residents, just judging from the number I've met in the past month who are traveling or living here in Panama.

How seasonal is the work? Would it be better to arrive in the month or so before high season rather than now, summer, or the fall?
