Wet and damp winters not for me. I need year round warmth, lower cost of living, and, hopefully, low crime rate. Panama seems pretty popular right now but I need more up-to-date info on crime rates and also how the judicial system works. I can't imagine getting into any trouble with the law but.... if purely by circumstance I was in trouble I wouldn't want to be throw in a cell and the key tossed away ( as in Mexico ). Is there anybody out there who could shed some light on this?
