I left Canada and spent two years in the Phillipines, can't honestly say I missed anyone too much. I sure didn't miss the weather. Our kids were young when we left ( 1 and 3 ) and kept us pretty busy. Bear in mind that I had been preparing to leave Canada for five years so mentally I was ready for the move. My next move will be geared with retirement and after being a working stiff for 50 years I look forward to putting my feet up in a tropical location and having a few cold brewskies.
