Hi everyone

My husband and I are moving to Dubai on May 10. We are very excited and going through checklists etc. I have a couple of questions and was hoping someone could help with these:

- Can anyone confirm which documents (if any) do I need to have attested in the UK before arriving in Dubai? I'm the one being sponsored. I.e. marriage certificates? masters degree? etc.

- We're planning on hiring a car for the 1st month (even more depending on how fast residency etc gets done) - I recall someone recommending a "local" car rental company instead of the usual HERTZ, AVIS, etc - can someone confirm the name again? I've been looking for it all over the posts but I'm afraid I can't find it.

We're really sorry we won't be be able to make the evening out to meet everyone but we hope there will be another one in May!
