Hi LittleBird:

No the time spent inside can be past the last date on the original PR visa. Therefore you would be eligible for your RRV as long as you had accumulated 2 yrs out of the last 5 in AU.

The RRV mainly is so you can return to AU as a PR, but you don't lose your PR if you are resident in AU.
