Then there was one time a group of us from work were heading out for a bite in the Sports bar on the waterfront (which I believe is no longer there) and the bouncer asked us if we had any concealed weapons. I smirked at the thought until, one of our group, the most diminutive gentle black haired blue-eyed sweetly smiling lass you could imagine, brought out a gun that I swear to this day was twice as large the the handbag she produced it from! Yea, you're right, the V&A Waterfront is a major attraction here. Always something going on to attract tourists and locals alike.
I am amazed to hear about the girl carrying a gun - but not surprised. No doubt she had an awful experience some time in her life hence her need to protect herself. Not something I have ever thought of though! I walk and live by faith!
