I am confident you will find a lot of information in a short span of time instead of waiting for replies. The question re. salary and how much one needs to live comfortably has also been discussed in the past with no concrete answers but you can also benchmark with other people who have posted the question and see how closely your situation is to the person asking the question. I would check the median income for a family of 2 if thats your case (of course depending on where you decide to reside)...Toronto is more expensive I believe.


The jobs you described are abundant here but Im not sure if the "Canadian Experience" requirement kicks in for such jobs. Being bilingual would be a great asset as it is a very diverse customer base here from what I see.
