On the cup/ glass idea, here (Madrid area) you have to specify everything or be faced with a barrage of questions (
) so to ask for a cup of coffee I say...
Un café con leche en vaso, corto de cafe y con la leche templada

Luckily I don't take sugar 'cos then we'd get into the
