why not try for IELTS again? I mean, if you believe that it will take some time before you are allotted a CO since you are modl, it might be worth a try to try for ielts again to see if you can raise your score. I thought regional sponsorship was 2 years commitment, same as state sponsorship. If not, have you looked into state sponsorship as well?

Since you are an Accountant and you could be in csl if your ielts score is 7 in every category, it might be easier to rather study hard and take the test again instead of waiting over a year for CO under modl or committing yourself to a state or region for 2-3 years.
