1. Is it possible to make cheap phone calls back to the UK, if so how do we do it?
2. We're living in Larnaka, does anybody know were we can buy a couple of cheap bikes, ideally used.
3. Where can we buy a good used scooter?
4. What's the best deal on internet access?
5. What's the best deal for getting some English or American TV? We're not big TV fans and aren't bothered about sport or films but would like to get thinks like Spooks, Sopranos, 24, CSI, waking the dead. That sort of stuff.
Any help or advice you have would be appreciated.
Cheers.

Hi Gary and Allison,

Welcome to the forum.
I think that Babs is probably the best person to answer most of your questions as she lives in the Laranca area. She will probably be along later.
As far as tv is concerend there are quite a few different packages like hotbird etc.
We had a large dish installed (2.8m) and we dont pay anything as we have freeview card and can get most of the programmes you mentioned.
Cytanet pretty have a monoploy on internet access but there may be someone in your area who does a wireless system. I beleive you can get a system which gives you both internet and freeview tv via a satellite dish.
We pay around 60euros per month for our phone and internet(broadband)
We make a lot of calls as we run our business from home so that dosnt seem bad to me.

Regards Veronica
