The way I understand it is that for her coming from the UK, she would normally be entitled to receive her unemployment based on her UK contributions for some period of time in France. But it depends on how the UK treats leaving a job to join a partner. (And I suspect that even in France, you need to be already married or PACS'd at the time that she leaves her job.)
She should check with the unemployment people in the UK. At the least, she'll need some form or certificate from them that she is eligible for UK benefits. If she has that, I think she can get her UK benefits from France.
