Being new to this forum I have found your thread very informative and it covered more-or-less everything that we would be asking. Me and the family (2 kids 14yr girl & 7yr boy) are hoping to move to Strathpine, QLD before the end of this year. Do you know about this area, on whether or not Strathpine is a good area to bring up kids, my Hubby, Mark was concerned if it was touristy and less amenities for the kids. Even though his work is in Strathpine we are lucky in the fact that we can locate anywhere near this even as far as Brisbane if need be. Any info would be appreciated.

Can anyone also advise if my old e-mail accounts such as aol, hotmail etc still would still work in OZ. I am assuming that anything with .com is world-wide and that it wouldn't have been a problem. If not which email accounts are better to migrate.
