I cant find clear answers on google and i have contacted the relevant administrations and i am waiting for their reply but in the meantime i thought id ask here...

my brit girlfriend (currently in UK) and I (i am french, residing in france) are thinking of getting into a PACS and moving in together... however i have a few uncertainties:

• as far as i understand she just need to declare herself as permanent resident at the Mairie upon arrival, is that correct?
• i am currently unemployed and i get RMI, how would the PACS affect the RMI?
• she'd be leaving her job to move to france; can she register for ANPE/Assedic?
• nowing that her french is not very good is this likely going to affect her eventual ANPE/Assedic registration and would they provide french lessons?
• i know she can get a Carte Vitale following the PACS; but what is the timeframe to ask for one after the PACS?

and also what do you think the timeline for it all should be?
