I need your help as I have just applied for a work visa to go to New Zealand and I am looking to move over their long term but want to see if I like it first.

I have researched the internet and read the books, but still wondering where the best place to go. I would like help with where is good for work (youth work) and a social life (pubs, sports)

I still havn't decided on where to go, stuck between Christchurch and Wellington. Don't fancy Auckland as a few people have said that it is not the best.

So was hoping for your help as anybody been to either of the places, and can you help me with what is good or bad about either.

I am aiming to go in a few months so if you can help me then that would be great.
