I am currently teaching in Cairo. If you're still looking for a job. It is much easier to get a job at a school once you're here. Schools see a high turn over rate of foreign teachers and in turn are skeptical of hiring from abroad. Having said that, again if you're still looking, if you sign a contract once you're here make sure you sign a foreign hire contract not a domestic hire contract or you can kiss respectable pay and any chance of a plane ticket once a year good-bye. If you have any questions let me know.

I have experience teaching English as a Second Language and have sent my resume and letter of recommendation to a couple of schools but have heard nothing. Any ideas, leads or even job offers LOL? Tried to attach my resume and letter of recommendation from my employer in Japan where I taught ESL...couldn't do it...if interested let me know and I'll email you copies.
