I have been offered a job to move to Brisbane for a monthly salary of A$10,000 with a A$700 a week housing allowance. Company has provided me with a tax protection policy such that my only exposure is my home tax. I am comtemplating the relocation as I do not know if the package is adequate for a decent living there. I have 2 children age 8 and 12 and am curious about the cost of living there. Anyone can provide useful advise ?
