Gerry - exactly the same experience as me.

I bought three books in around 1992. They cost me around GBP40, which was a lot of money in 1992, but they must have saved me tens of thousands over the years.

They were by Dr. W G. Hill and are known as the PT Collection, I think.

He did ramble on and on in them when the principles were very simple, but they changed my life in exactly the same way they changed yours.

They had mundane titles like The World's Best Tax Havens, and The Passport Report. There were eleven titles in all. There was a common theme running through these books which basically recommended that you should be thinking about five different legal jurisdictions in your life:

One where you live
One where you work or have your business
One where you keep your money
One where you have nationality
One where you have domicile

This sounds awfully complicated, but I have been working on it for nearly 20 years. The outcome is that I aspire to being able to live in any one of three countries at the same time, and we are doing that on a part time basis.
