Is the cost of living higher than what? The rest of Tassie, Australia or where?
I don't hear of that many people moving to Tassie period, never mind Hobart. I was there on holiday some years ago and I think Tassie is beautiful, but being in the South it is quite a bit colder than the mainland. It's very peaceful, Hobart is small for a State city and it seems to me this is how the UK would have been in the 50's (although I wasn't around then
).
