Hoping someone can help me. I have just started gathering information and material to put in my application form for my skills assessment (nursing) but it states that they require a reference from your current employer. we have decided not to use a migration agent as a few people i know actually had to do most of the work themselves as their agent worked slower than anticipated. I really don't want to mention to my work just yet the prospect of going to australia, because the process is long i have had a bad experience in the past - particulary when they know you want to leave but can't for months to follow. . I have spoken to someone who said that i can write a statement of declaration and then the reference can be submitted further down the line - roughly about month 10. does anyone know anything about this? please help as i have everything ready but this and i want to start the ball rolling.
