We definitely rejected a couple of places because we were uncomfortable with the level of care we thought we could get. We considered Nicaragua at one point, and were thinking about one of the towns on the west coast, but decided that at our age, decent local medical care was important. When we are older we will probably want to be near or in a city with good emergency and cardiac care facilities.
