This tax makes no sense to me, all it does is to increase my cost of living.
I usually take money out of the ATM which would be exempted from the tax. However I then take that money and deposit it in my mexican bank account to be able to use my mexican debit card and cheques.
So an exempted transaction becomes taxable just because I do re-deposit it into a mexican account? makes no sense to me, anybody any ideas how to get around this bureaucratic stupidity?
