Hi Bevdeforges, Why France you ask since we have never been, Okay We are both into countryside-Lakes-Woods & from what we have seen from uk telly programs this offers us all that, & we want a very laid back simple way of quality life, now our daughters have grown up there's nothing to stop us apart from selling our house. As for learning the language yes we intend do do this as i agree it's not polite to stay in our own tonge. we want to be part of the french community, Poss britany for ease of use back & forth to UK for ourselves & daughters.
