Hello Expats,
This is my "hello" intro post.

I'm 21 - male
and have wanted to move out of the UK for about 6 months.
Got my passprt through today, so now that idea is one step closer I guess.

I dont live a lavish lifestyle, for a 21 year old you'd be suprised the stuff I dont own and do. I like a good mash-up like anyone does, but it aint the be-all and end all to my life like it seems to be for most of my mates.

So here's the deal ........

I've decided to go for a travel, with the intention of eventually staying somewhere for a few months and then hopefully renting or getting the equilvent of a mortage there.

My requirements are -
- Has to be cheap - around £500 pm rent max.
- I have to have a broadband net connection avaliable in my place of rent etc.
- Has to be a "live-able country" eg somewhere safe(ish) where they dont hate whites
- A country where a majority of the population speaks or understands english. I'm not too keen on learning a new language just to fit in.
- A country where the water is piped and safe, housing is built to a good condition and so on.

Originally I was thinking Bulgaria or Czech Republic, then I heard they were more expensive and "europeanised" now, so then I thought India or Goa ( but go put of by something about Foreign Nationals not being allowed to buy property there ? ).

So now I'm stumpped again - I'm looking for somewhere to go initially as a more of a visit, then to settle down as stated above.
