My name is Shelley. I've recently relocated to Newcastle to be with my boyfriend.

I was born and raised in New Orleans, but have been living in Los Angeles where I worked in film production/film finance.

I am currently unemployed in the UK, as I am techinically here as a tourist and do not have permission to work.

I am seeking sponsorship but have had no luck with employers. Anyone need a hard working, intelligent, multi-skilled American on their team? I have B.A. in Communications and have worked for several years in the film industry but I can assure that all of my skills are transferable

All of the sites I have visited have pretty much told me my only hope is to wed, but we're not ready for that...and don't want to wed for that reason.

I would appreciate any advice or information. We're beginning to lose hope...it's been a discouraging few months...
