Situated in the western shore of Lake Michigan is Milwaukee City, the largest city in the state of Wisconsin.  It ranks as one of the country’s leading manufacturers of automobile parts, beer, and electrical, as well as non-electrical machinery.

Milwaukee, it seems, has cream as its favorite pigment.  This can be observed when looking at its brick buildings, for a lot of it is colored cream. Thus, earning the moniker Cream City. Also, the city has publicized itself as the City of Festivals.  This is mainly due to its Summerfest, a yearly affair and recorded as the largest music festival in the world which draws around 1,000,000 visitors annually. In fact, such event was entered and recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Milwaukee was once considered as the number one beer producing city in the world for many years at the time when four of the world’s largest breweries – Schlitz, Pabst, Blatz and Miller – are still operating in the city.  However, despite the closure of the three, Miller Brewing Company, the remaining major brewery, played an important role in its economy since it is employing a large number of employees. Even if production of beer represents only a fraction of its economy, it is still known as the beer town because of the presence of Miller Brewing Company which is the second-largest beer-maker and the oldest-functioning major brewery in the U.S.
