While the likes of the UK and other countries around the world continue to receive unfavourable press, regarding immigration policies, there is no doubt that the Australia immigration process is one which many countries are now aspiring to as a system which works and ultimately gives migrants and the Australian economy exactly what they both need. So how does the Australian immigration system work?

Background to Australia immigration

While there is some debate as to whether politicians in Australia are as “tough” on immigration as they appear to be in the press there is no doubt that the Australian points system is one which works and one which can be amended and adjusted at the “drop of a hat”. The UK government is now looking to adopt a similar policy with regards immigration but what can you expect when looking to emigrate to Australia and what is the process?
